The area of Capo Figari and Figarolo, Mortoriotto, Tavolara and Molara are famous for theirmagnificent underwater scenery. Theyoffer several dive spots suitable for various levels of divers, licensed and non-licensed. The area of Capo Figari and Figarolo arecharacterized by large boulders, passages and caves where sponges, gorgonians and various species of fish and mollusks have chosen to proliferate.
Between Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo there are many dives suitable for different degrees of difficulty. Among these is a gem of the Mediterranean: the Secca del Papa, a peak in the middle of the sea that rises from 50 to 14 meters from the surface. It’s a paradise where brown groupers and yellow and red gorgonian fans enchant divers from all over the world.
